Competing in a global economy, Broward County is rapidly positioning itself as a national startup and technology sector.

  • The Research Park at Florida Atlantic University® – a Frame of Mind – is a workplace for thousands of workers, an incubator for new companies, a growth engine for emerging businesses, a living laboratory for new technologies, and an interface between business and academia.
  • Nova Southeastern University is opening its Broward Innovation Center in the fall, a 60,000-square-foot incubator and accelerator project. The goal is to elevate Broward County as a national technology hub. NSU said the project would help attract and retain talent in the technology sector and assist new, innovative companies to grow locally, as well as benefit large technology companies already based in Broward.
