Chief Sean Brammer is a dedicated law enforcement professional whose tenure in the field spans 19 years. His career at Florida Atlantic University began in March 2006 as a Law Enforcement Captain. He eventually progressed to Major where he was placed in charge of Patrol Operations. On September 22, 2012 he was sworn in as Deputy Chief of the Florida Atlantic University Police Department. As Deputy Chief, he was in charge of overseeing the department’s bureaus of Patrol and Support Operations, which includes Crime Prevention, Criminal Investigations, Police Communications, and all of the police functions on the University’s partner campuses. On April 20, 2016 he was appointed the Interim Chief of Police by FAU Vice President of Administrative Affairs, Ms. Stacy Volnick. As Chief, he is responsible for overseeing the overall operation of the Office of Public Safety which includes the Police Department, Parking & Transportation Services, and Security Technology Services.
