Crime, immigration, the environment, tax breaks, education, and social media were among the many issues debated. Chip LaMarca is a lifelong resident of Broward County, representing Broward’s coastal communities. He’s earned a reputation for being a citizens’ advocate and respected voice for the taxpayers, veterans, first responders and pets in Florida House District 100. After attending Broward College and Florida Atlantic University, Chip followed in the footsteps of his late father helping create jobs in the construction industry. In 2006, after spending over 20 years gaining experience in the construction industry, he opened LaMarca Construction, a firm specializing in power generation. Chip and his wife Eileen now run The LaMarca Group, a business and nonprofit consulting firm.

Rosalind Osgood

A Broward County native, Senator Rosalind Osgood holds a Master’s and Doctoral Degree in Public Administration from Nova Southeastern University. She has earned a Master’s Degree in Divinity from New Orleans Southern Baptist Theological ATS fully accredited Seminary. She has been the Chief Executive Officer of Mount Olive Development Corporation for the past 23 years, a Faith in Florida Organizer, a Florida Senator for District 32, and an Associate Minister at New Mount Olive Baptist Church.

Senator Osgood was the former Chair of the Broward County School Board, leading the School Board’s National Mask Mandate battle against the Governor of Florida in 2020.

State Representative Christine Hunschofsky holds Bachelor degrees in Business Administration and Philosophy from Boston University, along with an MBA from Babson College. She began her public service journey on Parkland’s Education Advisory Board from 2006 to 2013.

In 2013, Hunschofsky joined the Parkland City Commission and in 2016, became the second woman elected Mayor. During her mayoralty, she provided leadership through the aftermath of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting, co-chaired the United States Conference of Mayors Small Cities Forum, and testified before the Gun Violence Prevention Task Force of the 116th Congress. In 2019, she was inducted into the Broward County Women’s Hall of Fame.

Ellyn Bogdanoff is a shareholder in Becker’s Government Law & Lobbying Practice. She joined the rm after serving over six years as a Member of the Florida House of Representatives and two years as a Florida State Senator. Having left public ofce in 2012, her knowledge, experience, and access to key decision makers are extremely valuable to her clients.
