Shannon is COO and VP, Policy & Programs for The Everglades Foundation. Her career spans 21 years in water management, Everglades Restoration, and Environmental and Land Use Law, having served in a variety of capacities under Govs Chiles, Bush, and Crist. Among many other related roles, she is a founding Chair of the Broward Water Resources Task Force.
Recently appointed by Governor Ron DeSantis to the board of the South Florida Water Management District, Bergeron is well-known for overseeing an empire of more than 40 successful companies. He is recipient of numerous awards, among which is the prestigious Horatio Alger Award. He currently serves as commissioner for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission and is Florida Wildlife Conservation Point Commissioner over the entire Florida Everglades.
Lt. Col. Jennifer A. Reynolds
Lieutenant Colonel Jennifer A. Reynolds has served as the Deputy District Commander for South Florida in the Jacksonville District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers since June 2015, working on hurricane response and recovery, water management operations, Everglades restoration, and the full portfolio of Corps activities in south Florida.

A native of Buffalo, N.Y., he holds a BA in philosophy from New York University and a master’s in journalism from Columbia. He previously worked at the York (Pa.) Daily Record.
