For elected officials, ethics reform has become one of the strongest community concerns – locally, statewide and nationally. While some believe that political ethics is an oxymoron, others believe that ethical standards need to be established and codified. Are these standards for behavior while in office reasonable or not? How can our public officials be held reasonably accountable for obligations to their community and avoid conflicts of interest? The discussion promises to be lively.
