It may be about “hard choices” in the 2012 Florida Legislative Session as legislators figure out how to cover a $2 billion shortfall in addition to revising how the state and federal districts are drawn. Additional major issues that will likely come up this session are Personal Injury Protection and Gaming.

Hon. Ellyn Bogdanoff (R) District 25
Senator Bogdanoff served in the House of Representatives from 2004 – 2010. She served as House Majority Whip from 2006 – 2008. She was elected to the Senate in 2010.
Hon. Chris Smith (D) District 29
Senator Smith served in the House of Representatives from 1998 – 2006. He served as Democratic Leader 2004 – 2006. He was elected to the Senate in 2008.
Hon. Evan Jenne (D) District 100
Representative Jenne was elected to the House in 2006 and re-elected subsequently. He served as Democratic Whip (2006-2008), 11/5/08-11/2/10, 2010-2012; was Democratic Floor Leader (2008); is this year’s Broward Delegation Chair.
