With a challenging economy and political gridlock, 2010 is shaping up to be a contentious year for incumbents, regardless of major political party affiliation. Long-serving members of Congress are retiring, while other stalwarts are facing opponents in their party’s primaries. State and local elections are expected to be just as hard fought. Sun-Sentinel Dueling Columnists Stephen Goldstein and Kingsley Guy will size up the most important races and how their results might affect South Floridians.
