Kingsley Guy was employed by the SunSentinel for 30 years, including 23 as editorial page editor. His career included assignments in the Middle East, India, Russia and China. He has been a frequent guest on local radio and television shows.
His fascination with ancient Egypt began in 1997, when he first saw the Pyramids, the Sphinx, and the temples of the Nile while reporting for the SunSentinel. After years of study, including on-site research, he wrote Queen of the Heavens, a novel set in ancient Egypt.
Mr. Guy lives with his family in Fort Lauderdale and on an isolated mountaintop outside Asheville, North Carolina, where he finds inspiration amid nature. Mr. Guy is working on a second novel, also set in ancient Egypt.
