Antonio Fins is the editor of the Palm Beach Post’s Business section, where he manages seven daily digital and print Business sections and writes a weekly column focused on local business.
Fins joined the Post in May after serving as executive director of the Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation for nearly three years. At the GHOF, Fins led marine conservation advocacy and education efforts, including developing the Conservation Village concept popular at events like the Tortuga Music Festival.
Fins is a veteran journalist in South Florida. He served six years as the Editorial Page Editor at the Sun-Sentinel, where he started as Senior Business Writer in 1997. Before that, he was a Correspondent in Business Week magazine’s Miami Bureau.
He holds a Ph.D in American history from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and he received his bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Miami.
