Adam Granit bio

Detective Granit started with the Davie Police Department in 1996, in 2000 graduating from the police academy as an officer. He was assigned to the road patrol division, where he handled truancy for the department where he worked with the Broward Sheriff’s Office Truancy Task Force. In 2005, Detective Granit began working with dependent children that were living in a group home in Davie. In 2012 he was assigned to the South Florida Internet Crimes Against Children and Human Trafficking Task Force where Detective Granit handled crimes against children cases on the internet and human trafficking. In 2013 he was deputized with the Federal Bureau of Investigations to work on their Crimes Against Children Task Force, which handles crimes against children and human trafficking. He is currently a detective with the Davie Police Department, assigned to the South Florida Internet Crimes Against Children and Human Trafficking Task Force and the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Crimes Against Children Task Force.
Detective Granit was born and raised in South Florida. He has an AA degree in Criminal Justice from Broward College, a BA degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Public Administration from Florida Atlantic University, and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Nova Southeastern University.
